WASHBURN and STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn. – Robert P. Green Sr., 60, died July 14, 2004, at Stafford Springs, Conn. He was born in Washburn the son of the late Herbert and Hazel (Johnson) Green Sr. Bob was a retired self employed plumber, owing and operating Bob Green’s Plumbing and Heating in Stafford Springs for many years. He is survived by his former wife, Nancy (Sitek) Green of Ellington, Conn.; three sons, Robert E. Green and Robert P. Green Jr., both of Stafford Springs, and Steven Green of Vernon, Conn.; four brothers, Herbert of North Carolina, Albert of New Hampshire, Richard of Maine, and Russell of North Carolina; five sisters, Alice Morgan of Tennessee, Maryann Makepeace of Maine, Betty Morest of New Hampshire, Caroline Green of Missouri, and Nancy Recard of Maine; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, William, Forest, Wendell and Gerald Green; and a sister, Mavis. Friends may call 9 a.m. Monday until time of services at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2004, from the Chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Susan Murphy officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
