LISLE, N.Y. – Robert “PC” Harold Call Sr., 77, of Lisle, passed away peacefully Feb. 24, 2005, at his home after a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, one sister, and one grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 53 years, Ruth (Cron) Call of Lisle; their children, B.J. and Julie Call, David and Moira Call, Ope and Rosemary Call, SallyAnn and Bill Bruce, Cindy-Kay and Tom Clark Sr.; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grand-children, four brothers, one sisters, several in-laws, nieces, and nephews, a special niece, Judy Saddlemire. Bob enjoyed working as a water well driller for more than 50 years. He was also a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Services will be held 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, from the Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th St., Whitney Point, N.Y. The Rev. Russell L. Ward will be officiating. Burial will be in Lisle Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends 3-4 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home.
