WINDHAM – Barbara R. Nichols, 85, of Windham passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at a Portland hospital. She was born July 27, 1919, in Bradford a daughter of Ora and Lillian (Scott) Roberts. Barbara was the wife of the late G. Raymond Nichols who predeceased her in 1983. She was valedictorian of Bradford High School and attended Husson College in Bangor. She was employed by the State House and also had done secretarial work at a Portland Bank. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Sharon R. Nichols of Westbrook and Jacqueline Fearon of Raymond; one brother, Fred Roberts of Bradford; one sister, Marjorie Tinker of Bangor; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Raymond Hill Annex Cemetery, Raymond. Arrangements by Dolby Funeral Chapel.
