GREENVILLE, R.I. – Eugenia (Goodine) Cannavo, formerly of Orono, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005. She was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Her career in government included service with the Coast Guard and the Farmers Home Administration. Her husband of 50 years, Anthony Cannavo, died Feb. 18, 2005. Surviving are sisters, Phyllis Agan of Vermont, Joanne Curran, her twin, of Michigan, Patricia Sutphen of Texas; a brother, Michael Goodine of Rhode Island; nieces and nephews; and a godchild, Cathleen Curran. Burial took place in Rhode Island.
