COLUMBIA – Eric Ryan “Dawg” Stover, 13, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, in Portland. He was born Oct. 3, 1991, in Augusta, the son of Michael C. and Belinda (Briggs) Stover Sr. Eric was a member of the seventh grade class at the Harrington Elementary School. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop No. 137 in Addison. Eric greatly enjoyed his scouting activities, hunting, fishing, and riding his four wheeler. He also enjoyed playing video games, chatting online, and listening to “rap” music. In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by a brother, Michael Stover Jr.; and his twin sister, Erica Stover, all of Columbia; a paternal grandmother, Marguerite Stover of Winter Harbor; six aunts, Phyllis Butler and her husband, Wayne, Carol Knowles and her husband, Winston, Charlotte Leighton and her husband, James, Rebecca Faulkingham and her husband, Patrick, Brenda Samson and her husband, John, Luanne Vautier and her husband, Val; two uncles, Brian Stover Sr. and his wife, Alzena, and Dell Briggs and his companion, Arlene Jones; and several cousins and friends. He will also be missed by special friends, Calvin Horn, Rosemarie Bocci, Amanda Dale, and Byron and Clarence Grant. Eric was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; his paternal grandfather; and an uncle, Kenneth Stover. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Harrington Elementary School gymnasium with Owen Beal officiating. Spring interment will be at the Mailley Hill Cemetery, Columbia.
