BRIDGEWATER – Robert R. Bell Sr., 60, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at a Mars Hill health care facility. He was born Nov. 26, 1947, in Mars Hill, the son of the late Ransford and Phyllis (Chase) Bell. Bob was a graduate of Aroostook Central Institute, and worked for many years for Mars Hill Oil Co., as a master oil burner technician. He was a member of Aroostook Masonic Lodge No. 197 and Anah Temple Shrine. Bob loved to drag race in his younger years. He had enjoyed attending multiple NASCAR races with friends and family. Many of his fondest memories came from spending time with his family on camping trips at Birch Point. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Paulette (Kinney) Bell of Bridgewater; a daughter, Andrea Bell of Mars Hill; a son, Robert R. Bell II and his wife, Megan, of Eddington; four grandchildren, Heather Marie Bell, Kennith Robert Bell, Garrett Robert Bell and Gabriel Robert Bell; three sisters, Judith Roach of Brock-ville, Ontario, Linda Gustafson and her husband, Al, of Wintergarden, Fla., and Brenda Mullen of Bargersville, Ind.; a brother, Rudy Bell of Blaine; a special cousin, Roger Bell and his wife, Cindy, of Mars Hill; several nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by special friends, Phil and Ruth Parks of Blaine. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main St., Mars Hill.
