EASTPORT – Robert W. Clement, 88, a lifelong resident of this city, died Dec. 11, 2004. He was born July 27, 1916, to William R. and Annie (Lee) Clement. He was the grandson of Emery and Emma (Wood) Clement; and Levi and Elmira (Bailey) Lee. He is survived by his wife, Marion (McConnell) Clement; daughter, Brenda and Marty; son, Brian and wife, Wendy; grandchildren, Shauna Brooks and Cindy Clement; brother, Howard Clement and his wife, Elsie, of Pembroke. He is also survived by his children, from his first marriage, son, Paul; daughters, Barbara (Dore) Bean and husband, Robert Bean, Bonnie and husband, Roger Gordon; grandchildren, Devon Dore and wife, Angle, Robert Dore and wife, Barbara, Tammi (Dore) Snow and husband, Dave, Sherri Gordon, Steven Gordon and wife, Michelle; and 12 great-grandchildren, nephews, Philip and Howard Clement Jr., Fred Cook Jr. and David Cook. He was predeceased by his sister, Jane (Clement) Cook and husband, Fred Cook Sr.; and nephew, Robert Clement. At his request there are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in the spring.
