MILO – Robert Wayne Eales, 79, husband of Constance C. (Smith) Eales, died Feb. 22, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 21, 1926, in McAdam, New Brunswick, the son of Horace B. and Bessie (Tracey) Eales. He was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railroad for 43 years, retiring in 1984 as a shop supervisor. A dedicated and caring family man, he especially enjoyed spending time with his son-in-law, Louie. Bob was a 61 year member of Royal Canadian Legion, a member of Benjamin Lodge No. 31 AF & AM for more than 50 years and a member of the Elks Club and IOOF. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Connie of Milo; a daughter, Lori and her husband, Louie Ellison, of Milo; a sister, Audrey Lindsay of Milltown, New Brunswick; two granddaughters, Lisa Ellison and her fiance, Wade Jandreau and Lindsay Ellison. He was predeceased by five sisters, Verna Storr, Mary Eales, Avis Owens, Joyce Howland and Betty Russell; and four brothers, Pat, George, Joe and Jackie Eales. Friends are invited to call 10 a.m. until time of funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with the Rev. Ron Chaffee, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring.
