BANGOR – Roberta Mogul, 71, passed away June 17, 2005, at her home in Bangor, after a long illness. Roberta, the wife of the late Jules L. Mogul, lived in Bangor and wintered in Lake Worth, Fla. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue and served on its Sisterhood, and as the Sisterhood president. Roberta was a life member of Hadassah and was a recipient of the Bess Minsky Award for Outstanding Service to that organization. She was an active participant in the Beth Israel Study Group and volunteered at the St. Joseph Hospital gift shop for many years. Roberta enjoyed playing golf and tennis, and working out with her personal trainer in Florida. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and friends. Roberta will be lovingly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Darlene Mogul of Bangor; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Morganstern of East Northport, N.Y.; her granddaughters, Taylor and Jules Mogul of Bangor and Cayla and Daria Morganstern of East Northport; and her brother, Richard Gover of Hauppauge, N.Y. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2005, at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, Center Street, Bangor, with Rabbi David Cantor officiating. Visitors will be welcomed at Roberta’s home, 11 Cortland Circle, Bangor, after the service and from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. June 20-23, to remember Roberta’s full and happy life.
