FORT KENT – Reno Caron, 58, died June 17, 2005, at his home in Fort Kent. He was born May 21, 1947, in Fort Kent, the son of Normand and Theresa (Gorneault) Caron. Reno was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Council No. 0352 and a past member of the Maine National Guard 1st BN, 152nd Field Artillery, C Battery, both of Fort Kent. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Beaulieu) Caron of Fort Kent; five children and their spouses, Lynn and Chris Cook of Burnham, Jean Beaulieu of St. David, Mark and Rose Caron of Topsham, Tracy Caron and Paula Caron of Fort Kent; nine brothers and sisters, Juliette Desjardins, Robert Caron, Priscilla Soucy, Rose Lavoie, Carl Caron, Patsy Cyr, Richard Caron, Normand Caron Jr., all of Fort Kent, Larry Caron of New Britian, Conn.; five grandchildren, Reno and Mark Caron, Kelsey Pelletier, Derek Beaulieu, Brady Cook, Michael Alexander; one great-grandson, Kaiden Beasley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one God son, Robert Caron Jr. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial with full Fourth Degree Honors will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
