ORRINGTON and ST. CLOUD, Fla. – Rodney Pease, 68, lost his battle with cancer on April 4, 2005, at an Orlando hospital. Rodney moved to Florida in 2003, to be with his granddaughters. He was born March 7, 1937, in Dexter, to Earl and Ruby (Arno) Pease. He attended school in Eliot and graduated from Eliot High in 1955. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He later worked for the City of Brewer and retired from Esco of Orrington. After retirement he spent his time helping care for his granddaughters, Lauren and Lindsey, whom were the apple of his eye. Rodney is survived by his wife, Constance (Varney); son, Gary Reber and his wife, Maureen of Cape Cod, Mass.; daughter, Cindy Bishop and her husband, Todd; two granddaughters, Lauren and Lindsey of St. Cloud, Fla.; two sisters, Earline Woodman of Kittery and Joyce Grant of Dover, N.H.; brother, Dr. Lowell Pease of Scarborough; and a special friend, Ruben Albert of Orrington. Memorial services will be held in June at the J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home in Kittery. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, Osceola Unit, P.O.
