TOPSFIELD – Rodney John Harriman, 81, died April 7, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 24, 1924, in Codyville, the son of Charles and Elsie (Cochran) Harriman. He served in the U.S. Army overseas during World War II. He worked as a Maine State Game Warden early in his career, a farmer and for the most part a logger in the Maine woods that he loved so much. He is survived by one daughter, Janice Harriman Tutt, her husband, Richard, of Eddington, their sons, Brad Allen of Old Town and David Jon of Georgia and daughters, Valerie Jean of Old Town and Heather Marie of Scarborough; three sons, Alan Ray, his daughter, Tara; Gary Ivan, his wife, Denise (Dwelley), son Brandon and daughter, Brianna; Flint Adam, his son, Adam, all from Topsfield and Flint’s daughter, Tania, in Florida; nine great-grandchildren; his good friends, Rita Severance and Harold Long. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Calais Regional Hospital building fund at “Capital Campaign”, 22 Hospital Lane, Calais, ME. 04619. A grave side service will be held at the Topsfield New Cemetery, near Memorial Day.
