ORONO – Roger E. Goewey, 66, of Orono, died Feb. 11, 2004, at a Bangor hospital after an extended Illness. He was born June 7, 1932, in Fitchburg, Mass. He was the son of Beatrice Flagg and Joseph Goewey. He was employed by National Grange in Keene, N.H., for many years in the maintenance department. Survivors include his wife, Necita (Engberg) Goewey, of Orono; one sister, Beverly Paul of Winchindon, Mass.; one nephew; and four nieces. He was predeceased by his parents. There will be no services, which were his wishes.
