MADAWASKA – Roger Guerrette, 74, died unexpectedly Dec. 30, 2007, at his residence. He was born Dec. 4, 1933, in St. Agatha, the son of Evariste and Yvonne (Albert) Guerrette. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Madawaska, and the Senior Citizens of Sinclair. He worked for Fraser Paper for 37 years and retired in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Claudette Clavette of Madawaska; one son, Troy and his wife, Julie, and their children, Steven, Sarah and Sean, of Bow, N.H.; one daughter, Tina and her husband, Michael Pratico, and their children, Samuel and Simon, of Falmouth; three brothers, Maurice and Conrad of St. Agatha and Normand of Frenchville; and two sisters, Jackie Gerard of Florida and Pauline Ouellette of St. Agatha. He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Lucille Daigle and Cecile Grandmaison; and two sisters-in-law, Rita and Phyllis. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, St. Agatha, with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Agatha Lower Cemetery in the spring. For those who desire, donations may be made to the American Heart Association and Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund.
