LEVANT and VAN BUREN Roger J. Gagnon, 73, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 23, 1935, to Bruno Gagnon and Anne Madore Gagnon. Roger was a building contractor in the Old Town area, prior to this occupation he was a welder and contractor in Hartford, Conn. He is survived by his wife, Dianne; sisters, Agatha of Van Buren, Adrienne of East Hartford, Conn., Claire of Windsor, Conn., Omerine and her husband, Elmer Gendreau, of East Hartford, Conn., and Velma and her husband, Herbert Castonguay, of Cyr Plantation; a special nephew, Vern Chabre of Glenburn; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by six brothers, Channel, Adrien, Ludger, Onizime, Robert, all of Van Buren and Albert of Levant; and seven sisters, Clarisse, Marianne, Edwidge, Maxine, Aurore, Albertine and Corrine, all of Maine. Services will be 10 a.m. July 12 at St. Bruno Church, Van Buren.
