PORTLAND, Ore. – Roger L. Brown, 72, died April 10, 2006. He was born Nov. 25, 1933, in East Millinocket. He was vice president of Argonaut Insurance for 17 years. After his retirement, he worked for North West Insurance Co. for 11 years and previously was with Liberty Mutual Insurance. He came to Oregon in 1966 from Los Angeles, Calif. He previously had lived in Chicago, Ill. He grew up in Maine and graduated from the University of Maine. He served in the U.S. Army for three years. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brown; two sons, Steven Brown and Scott Brown; one sister, Connie Lamoreau of Hudson; two grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Beaverton Masonic Lodge, Beaverton, Ore. Remembrances may be made to Beaverton Masonic Lodge AF & AM.
