SEARSPORT – Roger Myron Curtis, 70, died Sept. 16, 2005, at his home in Searsport. He was born June 8, 1935, in Searsport, the son of Myron and Anne (Rogers) Curtis. Roger retired from Dutch Chevrolet in Belfast, after 17 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Grant) Curtis of Searsport; two children, Deborah Curtis of Guilford, Kenneth and his wife, Lorrie Curtis; and grandson, Michael, of Sears-mont; two sisters, Frances Gray of Searsport, and Henrietta Seekins and husband, Robert, of Stockton Springs; two stepbrothers, Walter Rollerson and his wife, Mary, of Searsport, and Darrell Rollerson and his wife, Ann, of Bucksport; one special sister-in-law, Linda Goodridge of Sangerville. He has two other sisters-in-law and three other brothers-in-law. He will also be remembered by one special little boy, Jonah Gibbs and his family of Searsport; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Bowditch Cemetery, Searsport, with Roger’s cousin, Arthur Curtis officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Kno-Wal-Lin Hospice of Belfast. Arrangements by the Young Funeral Home & Cremations Services, 31 West Main St., Searsport.
