ST. AGATHA – Roger Valdo Plourde, 74, died June 1, 2005, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born July 1, 1930, the son of Peter and Madelaine (Ouellette) Plourde. He served in the U.S. Army; was a member of the American Legion Post 145 of Frenchville. He is survived by one son, Michael of St. Agatha; two daughters, Peggy Pelletier of Madawaska and Audrey and her husband, Dean Pelletier of St. David; five grandchildren, Cassie, Chantel, Crystal, Joey and Angel; three brothers, Reginald of St. Agatha, Bob of Frenchville and Phillip of Connecticut; and a special friend, Theresa Lee. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Theresa Cyr. Friends and relatives may call 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha, until the time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Nicknair, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery.
