MILFORD – Stanley J. Robbins, 83, passed away unexpectedly Wed-nesday, June 1, 2005, at the Togus VA Medical Center. He was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Gerry, the son of the late Lawrence E. and Loretta M. (Beers) Robbins. Stanley was a graduate of Ellsworth High School, Class of 1938. He was in the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II. Stanley spent many years working for Aerospace Industry in California and GTE Sylvania in Bangor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he was an avid collector of various items. He loved spending time with his family as well as spending summers at Beech Hill Pond. He is survived and will be sadly missed by a daughter, Donna Ulmer and her husband, Ken, of Burns, Tenn.; son, Lawrence Robbins and his wife, Zeny, of Milford; granddaughter, Wendi Woodard and her husband, Glen, of Pegram, Tenn.; granddaughter, Pauline Lloyd and her husband, Ryan, of Lebanon, N.H.; three great-grandchildren, Collin, Taylor and Katelyn; special friend and goose, “Honker”. At Stanley’s request there will be no services. Arrangements in the care of the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
