FRENCHVILLE – Roland Dufour, 56, died Aug. 19, 2006, in Lewiston after a brief illness. He was born Jan. 10, 1950, in Frenchville, the son of Wallace and Emelia (Lagasse) Dufour. He was a disabled Army veteran and a member of the VFW of Lewiston. He is survived by his mother, Emelia of Frenchville; his daughter, Lisa Marie Dufour of Waterbury, Conn.; his special friend and fianc?e, Barbara Bennet of Poland; seven brothers, Gary of West Hartford, Conn., Vernon of Watertown, Conn., Norman and his wife, Mary, of Auburn, Roland and his wife, Terry, of Terryville, Conn., Fernand and his wife, Rinette, of Farmington, Conn., Wilfred of Lewiston and Roger of Frenchville; six sisters and their husbands, Marilyn and Donald Blais of Dover-Foxcroft, Carol and Robert Chamberlain, Linda and Roland Ayotte and Pauline and Reginald Guerrette, all of St. Agatha, Theresa and Philip Plourde of Southington, Conn., and Diane and George Dionne of Presque Isle. He was predeceased by his father, Wallace Dufour. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Luce Catholic Church with the Msgr. Leopold Nicknair officiating. Burial will be at the St. Luce Cemetery.
