BELFAST – Roland Everett Davis, 67, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. He was born May 17, 1938, in Liberty, the son of the late Elmer and Hattie (Esancy) Davis. Roland loved tractors and country and western music. He also enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show on T.V. Roland is survived by two sisters, Charlene Sherman of Liberty, and Joyce Sweetland of Appleton; many nieces, nephews and cousins; an aunt, Ann Esancy; and a special niece, Arlinda Pearse. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Liberty Baptist Church, Liberty. Interment will follow at the Miller Cemetery, Burketville. Those wishing to make memorial donations may do so to the Tall Pines Health Care Facility, 34 Martin Lane, Belfast, ME 04915. Arrangements are under the care of the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
