MADAWASKA – Roland Levesque, 58, died March 11, 2006, at his residence in Madawaska. He was born April 27, 1947, in St. David, the son of Alfred and Annee (Cote) Levesque. Roland was a graduate of Madawaska High School, Class of 1966. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. He also attended the University of Maine at Fort Kent. He is survived by six sisters, Irma Cyr of Farmington, Conn., Bernadette Sirois and her husband, Norman, of Southington, Conn., Rev. Sister Lucille Levesque, of Ste. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Corinne Bouchard and her husband, June, of St. David, Muriel Chamberland and her husband, Norman, of St. Agatha, Simone Deschaine and her husband, Roger, of Lisbon; six brothers, Alphe’ and his wife, Yolande, of East Hartford, Conn., Armand of Southington, Conn., Rheal and his wife, Albertine, of Southington, Conn., Lionel and his wife, Geraldine, of Lille, Joel and his wife, Gaetane, of St. David, Bert and his wife, Ann, of Fort Kent; several nieces and nephews; and by a special friend, Carolyn. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Gerard Cemetery later in the spring.
