MILLINOCKET – Rolande “Rella” (Guerrette) Murray, 88, wife of the late Leo G. Murray, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at a Rumford hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1919, in Eagle Lake, the daughter of Paul and Mattie (Albert) Guerrette. Rella worked at Joe’s and Mary’s Restaurant, Millinocket for many years and was a communicant at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket. She enjoyed crocheting. Rella is survived by four children, James Murray and his wife, Bonnie, of Florida, Donna Millett of Rumford, Susan Mullin and her husband, Jerome, of Florida, and George Murray of Florida; 12 grandchildren, many great-grand-children, two great-great-grand-children, many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Wayne Murray; two sisters, Yvonne Boutaugh and Mary Civiello; and two brothers, Alex Guerrette and Bea Guerrette. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-8 p.m. Friday at Bouchard – Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.
