ST. FRANCIS – Ronald D. Thibodeau, 58, died April 5, 2006, at a Fort Kent Hospital. Ronald was born Dec. 9, 1947, in St. Francis, the son of Adrian and Izy (Theriault) Thibodeau. Ron graduated from Fort Kent Community High School, Class of 1966. He served in Vietnam while he was in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Lozier O’Grady Post 9609 of Fort Kent. He was a man who loved the outdoors, like hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by his family and especially his dog, Molly. Ron is survived by his mother, Izy Thibodeau of St. Francis; one daughter, Veronica (Thibodeau) Tomlinson of Vernon, Conn.; his companion, Gwen Lopez of St. Francis; two sisters, Adrienne (Toots) Lamore of Caribou and Mavis Voisine of Fort Kent; five brothers, Gerard “Bee” Thibodeau of St. Francis, Larry Thibodeau of Northboro, Mass., Fern Thibodeau of Fort Kent, Lloyd Thibodeau of Caribou and Bob Thibodeau of Soldier Pond; many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and one granddaughter, Megan. Friends may call 8 a.m. Monday, April 10, until time of departure for St. Francis, at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial with full military honors will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. Spring burial will be held May 12, at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, St. Francis. Those who wish may donate in his memory to the Veterans Relief Fund, care of VFW Lozier O’Grady Post 9609, P.O.
