PALMYRA – Ronald J. Winslow, 60, died unexpectedly June 13, 2007, at his home. He was born Dec. 29, 1946, in Bangor, son of Richard and Bernice (White) Winslow. He graduated from Bangor High school, where he played All-State Football. After high school he served as a naval petty officer in the U.S. Navy. After the service, Ron excelled in his career in retail management. He had been employed by several companies, including Ames, Service Merchandise and most recently at SAM’s Club, Augusta. He enjoyed golfing, boating, antique cars and especially spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Lemar) Winslow of Palmyra; two daughters and their husbands, Melanie and Mark O’ Leary of Maryland and Julie and Kyle Patterson of New York; one stepson and his wife, Dustan and Theresa Ludden of Palmyra; one stepdaughter, Carie Ludden of Palmyra; a sister-in-law, Leona; two nephews, Curtis and Craig; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Riley, Connor, Taylor and Daymion.
