VAN BUREN – Rosaire J. Bouchard, 80, died May 18, 2006, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. He was born July 19, 1925, in Grand Isle, the son of Damase and Edwidge (Ouellette) Bouchard. He was employed as truck driver for most of his life. Rosaire is survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Martha (Beaulieu) Bouchard of Van Buren; five sons, Norman Bouchard and his wife, Diann, of Hampden, Robert Bouchard and his wife, Michelle, Gary Bouchard and his wife, Susan, Paul Bouchard and his companion, Kim Beaulieu, all of Van Buren, and Richard Bouchard of Augusta; one daughter, Patsy Ouellette and her husband, Donald, of Augusta; two brothers, Ronald Bouchard and Lawrence Bouchard, both of Van Buren; five sisters, Regina Violette of Van Buren, Marcella Madore of Coventry, Conn., Laurette Gendreau of East Hartford, Conn., Cecile Lajoie of Glastonbury, Conn., and Therese Dumond of Darien, Conn.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday until time of service at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in Grande Riviere Cemetery.
