GUILFORD – Rosamond A. Goodridge, 91, wife of the late Olie Goodridge, died Feb. 19, 2007, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1916, in Concord, N.H., the daughter of Nelson and Jennie (Rogers) Vernott. Rosamond was very devoted to her family, and especially enjoyed all family events. She loved to cook and her hobbies included crocheting and sewing. An avid reader, she also enjoyed music and dancing. She is survived by three sons, Vaughn Kimball and his wife, Martha, of Ozark, Mo., Harold Goodridge and his wife, Bernie, of Pittsfield and Paul Goodridge and his life companion, Carlena, of Chicago; two daughters, Barbara Tompkins of Harrison, Ark., and Peggy Goodridge of Guilford; a brother, Joe Vernott and his wife, Robin, of Parkman; three sisters, Elizabeth Morin and her husband, Jim, of Parkman, Millie Thomson and her husband, Craig, of Clive, Iowa and Nancy Wylie and her husband, Charles, of Warner Robbins, Ga.; 25 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Alton Kimball; and a brother, Harold Vernott. She will be missed by her beloved dog and protector, Molly. Friends are invited to call 1 p.m. until time of service 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Spring burial will be in the family lot in Gray Cemetery.
