UNION, Maine and VENICE, Fla. – R. Bliss Fuller Jr., 70, a long time resident of Union, Maine, died peacefully March 13, 2005, at his home in Venice, Fla. He was born March 18, 1934, the son of R. Bliss Fuller Sr. and Martha Cornell Fuller. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 48 years, Marie Campbell Fuller; an aunt, uncles and cousins. He attended and graduated from Union High School and went on to attend the GM School in Michigan and SMVTI in South Portland. He owned and operated Fuller Equipment Co. in Union for many years, was a member of the Union Fire Department, Kora Shrine and an honorary Mason of Union Lodge No. 31 in Union. He enjoyed his home in Florida, his compound in Moosehead, and traveling. He will be remembered by many longtime friends and relatives for his sense of humor, his generosity and kindness. His family describes him as a loving father and grandfather, and he will be sadly missed as the monarch of the family. He leaves behind his companion and longtime friend, Marcia W. Soule, of Union; children, Craig A. Fuller and his fianc?e, Dawn Ouellette, of Union, Julie A. Packard and her friend, Jim Leo, of Searsmont; grandchildren, Troy A. Packard and his wife, Jennifer, of Union, Jessica Brann and her husband, Ron, of New Gloucester, Adam A. Fuller of Union; great-grandchildren, Jasmine M. Packard of Union, Cody and Morgan Brann of New Gloucester; many cousins and lifetime friends. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Lakeview Cemetery in Union. A reception will be held after the services at the Union Masonic Lodge in Union. Donations may be made in Roscoe’s memory to the Make A Wish Foundation for Children, 126 Mystic Ave., Rockport, ME 04856. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Waldoboro.
