BANGOR – Rose Marie LeBlanc, 87, wife of the late Lester R. LeBlanc, passed away June 26, 2006, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was born Feb. 5, 1919, in Bangor, the daughter of Cornelius and Mary (Smith) Golden. Rose Marie attended Bangor High School. She was employed at Viner Bros. for 38 years. She also ran the lunch counter at the former Kresgee store for six years. Rose Marie was a lifelong member of St. Johns Catholic Church and was a former member of the YWCA. She is survived by her stepdaughter and husband, Mary and John Jordan of Bangor; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins including a special nephew, George Martin of Bangor. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of St. Jude at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John Austin celebrant. Private interment will be in the family lot at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery.
