HOULTON – Roselyn C. Britton, 72, died Feb. 12, 2005, at her residence. She was born Nov. 25, 1932, at Sherman Mills, the daughter of Harry S. and Susie L. (Whitten) Adams. Rose attended Bridgewater schools and was a graduate of Bridgewater Classical Academy. She attended Ricker Junior College. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Gateway Dispatch for 25 years. She is survived by two sons, Russell Britton of Houlton, Michael Britton and his wife, Geri, Methuen, Mass.; two daughters, Catherine Linehan and her husband, Kevin, of Wells, Rebecca Diorio and her husband, Ronald Jr., of Billercia, Mass.; seven grandchildren, James and Kristine Kozdra, Jon and Brian Linehan, Jessica, Derek and Danielle Diorio; six great-grandchildren, Jace and Alexandra Linehan, Devon Watson, Christian, Brandon and Alyshia Kozdra; a special cousin, Evangeline Bates; several nieces and nephews.
