MATTAWAMKEAG – Ruby A. Wheeler, 80, died Oct. 8, 2004, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born April 9, 1924, in Macwahoc, the daughter of Oland and Myrtle (Parks) Smith. Ruby enjoyed yard sales, playing bingo and going for rides. She also liked flowers, scratch off tickets, reading and doing puzzles. She is survived by three sons, Robert Wheeler Jr. of Houlton, Johnny Wheeler of Macwahoc and Jimmy Wheeler of Enfield; four daughters, Paula Neal of Worcester, Mass., Roberta Coro of Molunkus, Connie Coro of Waite and Teresa MacArthur of Princeton; two sisters, Daisy Lyons and Geraldine Martin, both of Lincoln; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, David Wheeler; a brother, Oland “Sonny” Smith; two sisters, Shirley Parks and Christie Kimball. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
