BLUE HILL – Richard Kenneth Peasley, 32, died Oct. 6, 2004, at a Blue Hill hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1972, in Ellsworth. He was named after his beloved Bamp, Richard H. Carroll, who predeceased him on Dec. 8, 1990. Richard graduated from George Stevens Academy on June 22, 1991. He is survived by his mother, Cyndee Carroll of Blue Hill; his father, Gregory Peasley and wife, Catherine, of Brooksville; his very special nanny, Gloria Carroll of Hancock; grandfather, James Peasley of Brooksville; and two sisters, Wendy Libby and Lori Peasley, both of Surry. He was a very special uncle to Johniqua, Khalede, Gavin, Khemani, and Jachin. He was known and loved by them as uncle, Fifi. He had a very special dog, Emmit, who lost his life on the same day. Emmit was known all over for always being at Richie’s side and will be missed as well. Richie loved the sea and found his greatest peace on it as a fisherman. He will be missed by all of his aunts and uncles, Ginny and Bill Perkins, Judy and Mike Astbury, Frank and Tanya Peasley, James and Freida Peasley Jr., Kathy and Billy Eaton, Colleen and Bob Herrington, Maureen and Cliff Burton, and Karen Perkins. He will be missed by Johnny Clark and all of his special cousins. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at the Mountain View Cemetery on the Tamworth Farm Road, Blue Hill. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to celebrate his life at the home of Cyndee Carroll.
