FRANKLIN – Ruby H. Delaney, 81, died May 2, 2004, in Franklin. She was born April 5, 1923, in Blue Hill, the daughter of Alonzo M. and Edith M. (Carter) Haslam. Ruby attended the Bar Harbor Schools and graduated in 1942. She worked at Brach Candy Co. for many years and in her later years she worked as a greeter at the local Burger King Restaurant. She is survived by two brothers, Warren Haslam of Hancock, and Sterling Haslam of Grand Island, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Marie Kief. Ruby was predeceased by her daughter, Tina Marie; and her husband, John. Services will be private. Arrangements in care of Jordan-Fernald Funeral Homes, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
