PITTSFIELD and COOPER – Russell D. Lawn Jr., 37, died March 8, 2006, as the result of an automobile accident in Cooper. He was born July 13, 1967, in South Weymouth, Mass., a son of Russell and Joyce (Holland) Lawn Sr. He graduated from Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Class of 1986 and received an associate degree in computer technology from KVCC. Russell served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. At the time of his death, he was employed at Domtar Industries in Woodland. He is survived by his father, Russell Lawn Sr. of Newport; his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Robert Ainslie of Enfield, N.H.; four sons, Russell Lawn III, Ryan Lawn and Ridge Lawn, all of Detroit and Nicholas Deckart of Pittsfield; a daughter, Rheanna Lawn of Detroit; a brother, Robert Lawn of Plymouth, Mass.; a sister, Richelle Lawn of Pittsfield; several loving nieces and nephews; and his companion, Debbie Deckert of Pittsfield. Private visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, with Pastor Al H.
