LINCOLN – Russell F. Worster, 34, died July 14, 2004, at his home. He was born Oct. 23, 1969, in Lincoln, the son of Ronald and Barbara (Russell) Worster. Rusty had a big heart, and was always thinking of others. When his niece, Lexie, was too concerned about losing her hair due to cancer treatments, he shaved his head before she lost her hair, and that made all the difference to her. He always had a smile on his face, and gave a “peace” wave to everyone he met. Rusty loved his children dearly and always wanted the best for them. “He was the best Daddy in the world.” In addition to his mother of Lincoln, he is survived by two children, Rustie-Lynne Worster and Ronald Floyd Worster II, both of Lincoln; two sisters, Rhonda Scott, her husband, Paul, and their children, Kasey and Kody of Springfield; and Ronette Conley, her husband, Mike, and their children, Lexie and Jaedyn; grandparents, Vernon and Louise Worster of Prentiss and Anniebell Russell of Lee; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his faithful dog, Soho. He was predeceased by his father, Ronald; his grandfather, Arthur Russell; and his great-grandmother, Lena Worster. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Butterfield Cemetery, Prentiss, with the Rev. Thomas Glover and the Rev. Vinal Thomas officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to the Prentiss Church of God fellowship hall after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. For an online register book, please visit www.clayfuneralhome.com.
