ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Ruth B. Wartluft, 89, formerly of Kutztown, Pa., died Sept. 22, 2007, at the Masonic Home, Elizabethtown, Pa., where she had been a resident for 15 years. She was the wife of the late Rev. J. William Wartluft, who passed May 27, 2005. Born in Reading, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edgar N. and Edna B. (Lenhart) Dukes. She was a 1936 graduate of Reading High School. She was a worthy matron in Chapter No. 449, Order of Eastern Star, Womelsdorf, Pa. She is survived by daughters, Carol (Wartluft) Small of Orrington and Myra E. (Wartluft) Coffin of Kingfield; eight grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren; sister, Lelia (Dukes) Dietrich of Sinking Spring, Pa.; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Coldsmith of Wyomissing, Pa., and Irene Renninger of Wyomissing, Pa. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sell Memorial Chapel, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, Pa. After the memorial service, interment and Eastern Star ser-vices will be held 1 p.m. at Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township, Pa.
