BANGOR and FORT FAIRFIELD Ruth L. Clark, 84, wife of the late Gould B. Clark, went to be with the Lord, Feb. 1, 2005, peacefully in her sleep, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Cornville, the daughter of Ray and Lizzie (Churchill) Moody. She is survived by one daughter, Alma and her husband, Richard Williams, of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, all of whom are residing in Arizona; four brothers, Myron and Fremont Moody, both of Cornville; twin brothers, Allen, of Houlton and Willis, of Sheboygan, Wis.; one sister, Amy Stevens of Delmont, S.D.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Katharine Barron. A service of remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at the Pilgrim Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 375 Mount Hope Ave., Bangor. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Prospect Connecticut. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Penobscot Christian School, 1423 Ohio St., Bangor, ME 04401, for a memorial fund in honor of Ruth.
