RUTH LORAINE (MCNALLY) PULSIFER SHERMAN and MILLINOCKET – Ruth Loraine (McNally) Pulsifer, 71, died peacefully May 13, 2007, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born in Siberia, the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Dearborn) McNally. Ruth graduated from Sherman High School and attended Ricker College, Houlton. She worked in retail for more than 25 years at W. T. Grant, Woolco and Ames. In her retirement she was an avid gardener and home decorator. She enjoyed making quilts and flower displays, and she was a passionate Red Sox fan. According to her family, Ruth was always positive and never said an unkind word. She was the wife of 54 years to Robert L. Pulsifer Sr. She is survived by her children, Colleen Guiggey and her husband, Wayne, of Sherman, Darlene Perry and her husband, Mark, of Natick, Mass., and Robert Pulsifer and his wife, Wendee, of Levant; six grandchildren, Carey Splan of Stacyville, Clint Guiggey of Patten, Leslie Williams and Derek Pulsifer of Bangor, Lisa and Nathan Perry of Natick, Mass.; great-grandchildren, Brenna and Chelsea Noonan, Logan and Brody Guiggey and Darius Williams; many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth was the sister of Gary and Kay McNally and Roanne and Larry Morgan, all of Sherman. She was predeceased by her parents; and her brothers, Frank “Ted” McNally and Richard McNally. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Washburn Memorial Church, Sherman, with funeral services to be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. John Deal officiating.
