BRISTOL, CONN. – Ruth M. (Dubay) Emery, 62, of Bristol, Conn., wife of Terrence L. Emery, died on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at a Bristol Hospital. Mrs. Emery was born in Carroll, May 20, 1942 and was a daughter of the late John L. and Florence (Bouchard) Dubay. A Bristol resident for more than 40 years, she was employed at O-Z/Gedney in Terryville for 25 years before retiring. In addition to her husband of 13 years, Mrs. Emery is survived by a daughter, Dolleen A. Kafka of Lee; five brothers, Richard Dube of Lincoln, Raymond and Peter Dubay, both of Lee, Donald Dubay of Bristol, and Frederick J. Dubay of Wethersfield; five sisters, Mary Moore of Millinocket, Ellen Cote of Lincoln, Doris Swasey and Fernande Johnson of Bristol, and Jane Merchant of Pequabuck; a grandson, Jacob Allen Kafka of Lee; two step-children, Charles Emery of Southington, Delores Adams of Meriden; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Alton Dubay Sr. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, Conn.
