EASTPORT – Ruth Mary Greenlaw, 76, died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at a Calais hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Pembroke, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Hayward Dudley. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, doing crossword puzzles, making wreaths, cooking and eating hogs head cheese and pickled pigs feet. She was recently predeceased by her husband John C. Greenlaw; by two sisters, Eleanor and Gladys; and three brothers, Raymond, Carlton, and Tim. Surviving are two daughters, Doreen Johnson and her husband, Brian, of Eastport, Ellen Greenlaw and her friend, Ricky Green, of Eastport; three granddaughters, Opal Wilder and husband, Jeff, of Dennysville, Brandy Johnson and friend, John Lund, of Eastport and Tiffany Townsend and friend, Pete Frost, of Eastport; grandson, Nicholes Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Niomi, Breanna, Samantha, Cassidy, Logan, Devon and Alan. A graveside funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, at Hillside Cemetery, Eastport, by Pastor Bob Hinton. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home-Flagg Chapel, Eastport.
