GUILFORD – Ruth M. Hunt, 84, went to be with her Lord, March 25, 2005. She was born Oct. 27, 1920, in Northeastern, Mass., the daughter of Alfred and Caroline (Glover) Townsend. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Guilford. She worked for Hardwood Products Company in Guilford for many years. She is survived by four sons, Leonard Hunt, Robert Hunt, and Jimmy Hunt all of Guilford, and David Hunt of Bangor; special daughter, Sylvia Hunt of Guilford; a sister, Mary Bishop of Brewer; six grandchildren, Shannon Grim, William Hunt, Allison Kelly, Brittany Hunt, Jacob Hunt, and Peter Hunt; four great-grandchildren, Breanna Grim, Zachary Grim, Zachary Gray, and Miranda Kelly. She was predeceased by her husband, Roscoe Hunt Jr. in 1998. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford, with Pastor Joseph Gioia officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. Spring burial will be in the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford.
