HAMPDEN – Ruth (Richardson) Meehan, 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family, June 15, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. Visiting hours will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 70 Western Ave., Hampden, with the Rev. Rob Vaillancourt, pastor, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, care of EMMC Charities, P.O. Box 404, Bangor, ME 04402-0404.
