HOULTON – Ruth W. Lincoln, 89, died April 14, 2006, in Houlton. She was born March 11, 1917, at Fall River, Mass., the daughter of Joseph and Maybella (Hart) Williamson. Ruth was a member of the First Congregational Church, UCC of Houlton. She also was a Past Matron of Fidelity Chapter No. 32, the Order of the Eastern Star and a current member of the Lunar Chapter No. 126 in Presque Isle and the Houlton Garden Club. She served for many years as the receptionist for Dr. Donald Woos, DDS of Houlton. Ruth is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roger B. Lincoln; her son, Roger Jr. “Bud” and his wife, Dianne; her daughter, Ruth “Betty” and her husband, William Anderson; five grandchildren, Heather Rafter, Jessica Wotton, Marcia Lincoln, Sarah Anderson and Derek Anderson; three great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lenwood J. and Harold J. Williamson, both of Somerset, Mass. Friends may call 1 p.m. Monday, until the time of services 2 p.m., at the First Congregational Church on High Street, with the Rev. Dale Holden officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
