FORT FAIRFIELD – Ryan R. Clark, 18, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Packington, Quebec, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born Dec. 27, 1986, in Presque Isle, the son of Robert P. and Sherry D. (Kiser) Clark. Ryan was a member of the 2005 graduating class of the Fort Fairfield High School. Ryan loved sports, he received the Three Sports Award in 2005, from the Fort Fairfield High School for his participation in varsity basketball, soccer, and golf. Although basketball was his favorite sport. He was his Mom and Dad’s best golf buddy. Ryan was very proud of his acceptance to Thomas College, where was to major in sports management and play on the golf and basketball teams. Ryan was an avid outdoors person who loved to hunt, fish and drive his James Bond 007 snow sled. He loved his friends and his friends loved him, he enjoyed life to its fullest and was always eager to help anyone that needed it. He will be sadly missed by his special Aunt Cathy who called him “Stud Muffin” or just “Muffin” for short, and his special friend, David Butler, who treated him like his own son. Ryan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Samuel M. Clark; and his maternal grandfather, Derl G. Kiser. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Sherry Clark of Fort Fairfield; one brother, Branden S. Clark; and one sister, Whitney R. Clark, both of Fort Fairfield; paternal grandmother, Freda (Payne) Clark of Fort Fairfield; maternal grandmother, Patricia (Shaw) Kiser of Easton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. A gathering for friends and family members will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. A funeral Mass will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at the St. Denis Catholic Church, 147 Main St., Fort Fairfield, with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie officiating. Interment will take place at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ryan may be given to the Ryan R. Clark Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 427, Fort Fair-field, ME 04742. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
