SANDRA D. RUSSELL HARTLAND – Sandra D. Russell, 67, of Hartland, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at the Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield. She was born in Montague City, Mass. May 26, 1937, the daughter of Dominic and Nadine (Briggs) Giordano. Sandra was educated in Connecticut and Maine. She married Clifton Russell in Sangerville in 1966. Sandra was the housekeeping supervisor at the Sebasticook Valley Nursing Home in Pittsfield and she also worked at the Sunrise Caf? in St. Albans. One of Sandra’s greatest joys in life was her family, though she enjoyed traveling (especially to Boothbay), reading, and watching sports on TV. She is survived by her husband, Clifton of 38 years. Sandy is also survived by her eight children, five sons, Wade Hall, Les Russell and his fiance, Randi Cookson, Craig Russell and his companion, Dwight Whitney, Christopher Russell and fiance, Tammy Dyer, Michael Russell and companion, Jennifer Murray; three daughters, Nara Leavitt and her husband, Randy, Teri Fanjoy and her companion, Andre Poulin, Nadine Glidden and her husband, Jeremy; 15 grandchildren, Heidi and Adam Russell, Branden and Trevor Leavitt, Cory Fanjoy, Matthew Cathell, Ashley Russell, Nichoal Hook, Brent Russell, Brittany Manson, Kayla Glidden, Newman Cummings, and Keegan, Quinten, and Lexus Grass; two brothers, Mark and Dominic Giordano; six sisters, Sherill Hayden, Roxanne Latabouche, Cindy Bayerdorffer, Nina Brawn, Marcia Harrington, Bridgett Bray and several very special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Justin Giordano. There will be a Memorial Celebration 10-4, Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at the Russell Home, 35 Blake St., Hartland.
