MADISON – Sandra Shaw, 30, died June 26, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born Aug. 15, 1976, in Manchester, Conn., the daughter of Max L. Shaw and Ruth (Copas) Lowe. Sandra attended Skowhegan schools. She loved being around people, especially children and dreamed of becoming a teacher. She is survived by her father of Presque Isle; her mother of Connecticut; her special friend, Kirk Sirois of Madison; two brothers, Bruce Shaw of Scarborough, and Danny Shaw of Presque Isle; three sisters, Marsha Libby and her husband, Arthur, of Hampden, Sonya and Jessica Bolsters-Lowe; paternal grand-mother, Bertha M. Shaw of Houlton; stepmother, Brenda Hanson and her husband, Martin, of Woolrich; maternal step-grandparents, Albert and Mary Martin of Old Town; one niece and one nephew, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Brandon Shaw; and her paternal grandfather, Max Shaw. Friends may call noon Friday until time of service 1 p.m. at Military Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
