MADAWASKA – Rose Picard, 66, passed away June 26, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born June 16, 2007, in St. Francis, the daughter of Treffle and Odile (Pelletier) Jandreau. Rose was a breast cancer survivor. She had a big sense of humor, and loved finding jokes to share with friends and family. Rose was a computer enthusiast, and enjoyed sending and receiving emails from friends and family as well. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society in Madawaska. Rose also loved knitting and needlepoint, and working with fun fur. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Reno Picard of Madawaska; her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Cyrilla and Dale Charette of Fort Kent; her only granddaughter, Allison Rose Charette of Fort Kent; her brother, Joel Jandreau and his wife, Verona, of Caribou; a niece, Lynn Potter of Caribou; a nephew, Dr. Daniel Jandreau of Caribou; her special godmother, Cora Roy of Connecticut; and many special friends. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family are invited to call 9 a.m. until time of service 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose’s memory may be made to the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund, Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daigle Funeral Home.
