FITZGERALD, Ga. – Sara “Sug” (Livingston) Farmer, 79, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Dorminy Medical Center, Fitzgerald, Ga. Mrs. Farmer was born Jan. 9, 1929, in Ben Hill County, Ga., to the late Johnny and Ida Mae Player Livingston. She was a homemaker and had lived in the community for the past four years, having lived in Winter Harbor for 38 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Betty Jo Williams and Stephen of Fitz-gerald, Ga., Joanie Stanwood and Gary of Steuben, Denise Cribb and Charles of Fitzgerald, Ga., and Jack Kyle “Snapper” Farmer and Shelley of Carmel; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty L. Kit-chens and Henry of Fitzgerald, Ga., and Dona L. Fletcher of Irwinville, Ga. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack K. Farmer, one brother, two sisters and a grandchild.
