AUBURN – Sarah F. (Bubar) Farrell, 74, died Monday Jan. 31, 2005, in the Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn (White) Bubar. She was educated in Fort Fairfield schools. Mrs. Farrell worked as a machine operator for the L. Farber Corporation in Worcester for many years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose family came first. She liked to crochet, sew, and was a great cook. She is survived by her seven children, Diane Clark of Gray, Deborah Peters of Canaan, Cheryl Cardinal of Worcester, Leslie Clark of Las Vegas, Nev., Chad M. Farrell of Brimfield, and Dawn Moreau of Auburn; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She leaves eight siblings, Donald Bubar of Burlington, Conn., Shirley Bishop of Covington, Ga., Susan Durant of S. Portland, Wayne, Roger, and Gerald Bubar, Norma VanBuskirk, and Linda Hickox, all of Fort Fairfield. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and close friends. Her husband of 40 years, Robert H. ‘Clownman’ Farrell, and a son, David J. Farrell, predeceased her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. following visiting hours. A graveside service will follow on Friday in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
