LINCOLNVILLE CENTER – Sarah Mae Hawkins, born Feb. 15, 1982, left this world May 29, 2006. All who knew and loved her deeply feel the loss of this beautiful, kind and creative woman. Her beauty was cut short at the age of 24, but her love, joy and beauty live on through her two year old daughter, Tyler Jade. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Tyler Jade; four brothers and two sisters, Nathan Hawkins, Reuben Sanchez, Forrest Sanchez, Brandon Larlee, Heather Dyer and Leah Sanchez. She also leaves behind her mother, Lynn Sanchez, grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her life was short, but full. Sarah loved to fly and completed ground school in December, 2005. She loved the freedom she felt while in the air. She worked as a foster mother in Santa Fe, N.M., where she fell in love with the open skies and beautiful sunsets. Sarah was an artist, a poet, a musician, an animal lover, and a caring, kind and beautiful mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved mountains, the forests and oceans of Maine, the deserts and skies of New Mexico, adventure and most of all, people. Family and friends can visit www.virtualmemorials.com or www.sarahmaeandtylerjade.com and are invited to write entries in her guest book. In lieu of a memorial service and flowers, those who wish are invited to donate to a trust in behalf of Tyler Jade. Information on the trust will be posted on sarahmaeandtylerjade.com and virtual memorials.com Treat this day as though your first, as though your last, just… treat this day.
